ACA Football Partners Pte. Ltd. (Singapore, CEO: Hiroyuki Ono, hereinafter ACAFP) and Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. (DEA), a Singapore-based global GameFi platform company, had announced its strategic partnership in February, and the city of Deinze has shown its interest for further support to help the local development.
The press event took place in Deinze, Belgium. The mayor of the city of Deinze Mr. Jan Vermeulen, Mr. Yoshida Naohito (DEA CEO), Mr. Mitsushi Ono (DEA Head of Ecosystem Promotion), and Mr. Ono (ACAFP CEO) made their appearance to give presentations and to attend a panel discussion about Web3 in the world, Web3 and football and KMSK Deinze in the future. By having a solid connection with DEA and Deinze city, KMSK Deinze will create new value and develop a new revenue stream both at the local and global level.
KMSK Deinze partners with DEA to build a scheme of Web3 ecosystem which lets the club be a hub organization of connecting NFT sponsors (investors), “Play & Earn” platform, and fans. NFT sponsors may invest in NFT cards to play with on the online card game called “JobTribes”, which the club can lend to the fans to play the game and earn profits. These profits can be shared by sponsors and fans. Furthermore, fans will be able to purchase game tickets or official goods with these rewards in the near future (※ Click here for details).
Mr. Jan Vermeulen showed his consideration for this progressive project and stated that it is interesting to see how KMSK Deinze is exploring ways to develop new revenue streams in these times, by investing in modern technology. It is also a bonus that the local community can be enhanced and that a return will be made to the society.
NFT cards on “JobTribes” correspond to real occupation, and within the event DEA announced that they are now creating a special NFT card for Lennart Mertens, a key striker of KMSK Deinze as a football player. Moreover, DEA plans to make special cards for the club fans and the mayor Mr. Jan Vermeulen, and in that way we can create a direct link between the product and the local entities.

KMSK Deinze is a very important organization for our local community, they can be proud to be one of the first cases of implementing Web3 into a football club.”

“After announcing our strategic partnership with DEA in February, the project is developing with cooperation of the city of Deinze. Having made those progress in such a short time, this could not have happened without everyone’s understanding and effort and we deeply appreciate it. Reinvigoration of the local community and building a connection with club supporters are fundamental factors when we think about football business, and the collaboration of the city of Deinze is our big step forward. We will keep working to make more excitement together with the city and our fans.”
